Why is Orlando more aesthetically beautiful than Tampa, L.A.?

• Orlando spends a lot of cash on cosmetics to make the city look beautiful. Los Angeles looks that way in movies but up close you see the slums of Hollywood. East LA and areas of downtown. I know people say Orlando tries to be LA but I think we do LA better. Then there is Tampa. I went on vacation there (Tampa) and it was the vacation from hell! Everything is run down, old cheap and poor looking. Compared to other cities in FL we visited, even tampas best parts like Channelside and Town and Country don't compare. Me and family went to Sarasota, Celebration, Orlando, Tallahassee, Estero and Gainesville and all those cities were either super clean or if they had bad areas they were limited to small parts of the city, not everywhere like dump Tampa. Where are the palm trees in Tampa? Why are so many strip clubs in Tampa? Why is everything old and ugly in Tampa when Tallahassee and Gainesville are older but their old is charming and historic? Orlando is nice with manicured lawns, buildings look neat and colorful, same with Estero. Why is Tampa the armpit of Florida? Don't fo to Tampa if you value American beauty because all that's there is strip clubs, ghettos and homes from the 1920s. Btw we stayed in Tampa longer than those other places.

  I think it is because Orlando caters to tourists and thus, they have to make the city look as nice as it looks. Tampa doesnt and thats why its old, severely ghetto and impoverished. Orlando cares very much about manicured lawns, palm trees, tree-lined streets, clean neighborhoods and communities because Orlando is big on Presentation and Aesthetics.
