Whats good place to visit in South Florida for my friend's bachelorette surprise?

• I am planning on taking my friend who's getting married in Sept away for a couple of days, its a group of girls are going and we are from Orlando. We were planning on going to the Bahamas but our work schedule will conflict with that. So we are planning on driving to somewhere in South Florida, Miami, Florida Keys, etc? We want a tropical setting since we can't go to an actual island so any suggestions for a place to go and where to stay at or even a website to check out. Oh and we definitely need some type of night life. Thanks
