How's the weather Oct. 1st @ DisneyWorld Orlando, FL?

My hubby and I were in Disney from Oct. 25th to Nov. 4th, 2005...I was told before we went that it rains about an hour a day...We were there for 10 days, and it only rained one day for about an hour (but we were inside eating at the time, so we were OK with that)...I guess it all depends on Mother Nature, though...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, and have fun!!!

Yes, it does rain sometimes the 1st week in Oct. When it does rain, it usually lasts 20 mins or less & usually rains after 3pm. Besides Disney & Universal Studios, there are dinner shows, Gator Land, Airboat rides (usually like $40 per person), lots of put put golf, flea markets, Ripley's Believe It or Not muesum, Holy Land (if you are christian, very religious), City Walk (dance clubs at Universal Studios), Mall of Millenium (shopping of course), drive to a Cocoa Beach (about 1 hr or less), NASA (museum), drive to Tampa (gamble at Hard Rock Hotel), Sun Cruise casino boat (about 50 min drive from Orlando), etc. I gave you websites for cheap place to buy dinner show tickets, Gator Land, & Airboat rides. Thats a good list to start with. Have FUN!!!!

I WAS THERE AT THE END OF OCTOBER AND WE SWAM DURING THE DAY. THE WEATHER WAS GREAT. I WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER EARLIER IN THE MONTH,.

As long as the tropical depression no. 8 doesn't head our way...which sucks for us...could be here by 1 Oct...

Oh, the weather will be fine, I'm sure. And you're going to have an awesome time. The Year of a Million Dreams Celebration begins October 1st. Lucky, I wish I could be there. There's going to be a lot going on!

Still pretty warm. Check the schedule ahead of time to see if the water parks will still be open. And, you have to buy extra tickets now to go to the water parks. They are not included anymore in the pass. Also, October is Halloween month. They have fright nights there. You also have to pay 40.00 dollars extra if you want to attend a fright night. The cost of tickets have gone up to 69.00 dollars each. That does not include all the extras it takes just going. If you do go stay on the resort. They have rooms that are economical (about 69.00 - 70.00 a night) unless they have gone up on those too. The restaurant, pools and buses are all right there. I think they have a music theme and sports theme as well as others. Dot your i's and cross your t's before you go so you are not surprised.
