you should not carry stuff that's valuable like rings and watches and other stuff also you should go with sum 1 that can help you like i a situation like when they rob u. or you could go to a mall and other places where you think it's safe and thre's security guys hope dis helps u(:

Safe as every other big city

Move out to the middle of the country, lock your doors, and stay inside. I don't thnk that there is anything that you can to do make yourself feel safer ... as long as you have the mindset that people are out to get you. If you are really concerned about your personal safety, I would suggest studying a form of martial arts or krav maga.

Well, I've heard Pine Hills called Crime Hills, so I can see why you would be nervous. I don't mean to frighten you, I can understand why it would be unnerving. Having crime so close to where you live is scary! Some parts of Orlando do have more crime than others. If you are afraid that your phone is going to get stolen, don't get it out when you are outside. Sort of defeats the purpose of having it, but better safe than sorry. If someone approached you and tried to rob you, your best best is just to give it up. No phone is worth getting hurt over. This is true for anyone, anywhere. If you feel like you need to carry pepper spray, then make sure you know how it works and be cautious that you don't have it used against you.

I have just been to a crime prevention in Clermont. Mace was the best defense suggested to carry around, and to aim for the chest. Don't carry a purse around but a wallet on a string that fits around your neck and inside your garments. If you ever get a chance go to one of these meetings, they are very informative.
