What is the weather usually like in Orlando, FL in October?

  • Well I'm visiting Florida, Orlando for 16 days in October (8th thru 22nd) and was just wondering what the weather will be like? Also about Halloween horror nights, I'm like really crapping myself to go and was wondering if it was really scary and busy? I'm staying in the Sheraton Studio City (across from WetnWild) and was wondering what else me and my family could do (I'll be 16 and my parents are 41 and 46) as my parents are quite thrill seekers too!     The weather at that time is usually pretty hot. May be a little cool in the evening, depending on where your from. Cool to us is like 70. Halloween Horror Nights (i've gone every year for the last 4 years) is pretty cool. It's MUCH MUCH better when they have it at Islands of Adventure. But for the last couple years it's been at Universal Studios. It's not too bad, not terribly scary, but it can get a bit freaky some spots because it gets all foggy and then all of a sudden you have this creepy guy with a chainsaw like RIGHT in your face through the fog, lol. But it's cool. It's worth going :)

I'm from a warm weathered location and I went in October to Orlando and I found it was nice, warm in the day but not that scorching type, and at night it was cool :D

Halloween Horror Nights! Always wanted to do that, and im scared too!! Yes it gets very full, in Disney for halloween for children and Universal Studios for Halloween horror nights, and you cant wear costumes into the park! It gets very crazy and full! you can go see Blue Man Group. Its a great show! everyone loves it! its actually located next to Universal Studios its in between Hard Rock Cafe and Universal Studios,. its has a theatre in between! i recommend the show!
