Travel to orlando in winter? pools warmed?

If you are staying at a decent resort the pool will be heated but the air won't be. As soon as you get out of the pool and expose your wet skin to the cold air you'll freeze. If you want to swim in the winter in FLA you need to go further south. If you aren't interested in going to a theme park then go to south FLA or even the Keys for your winter vacation.

Just about all hotel or resort pools are heated. At the beaches in Central Florida - Atlantic or gulf, the water is much too cold for swimming. Another option: There are many natural springs in the Orlando area and the water all year round is a constant 72F. Seems nice in the winter when it is 45F outside, but feels cold in summertime when it's 97F. There are at least two places where the manati come to spend the winter, Blue Springs State park (nr Orange City) and Cristal River Park (closer to Tampa) At Cristal River you can swim with the manati (and it does not cost $200).

well most hotel pools are outdoors and most are open year round and yes most are heated in the cooler months.
