Answer:
As long as you have the money to do it, I say do it. I am in my 30s and wish I did a lot more traveling and goofing off when I was younger. After graduating college, I never put any of my part time jobs on my resume (and certainly not now that I have enough full-time professional jobs as my experience.) If you have an internship, just use that and that person as a reference. Older people understand that when you are young, you like to do new things and explore. Everyone I know would encourage it. Just be sure to quit graciously. Give them two weeks notice and thank them for employing you. Show up and work as normal for all shifts already scheduled. Good luck with your future and have FUN!

Do what you think you really wanna do ... Just no regrets in future. Hmmm, of course, think carefully and plan well. Don't be too impulsive. Part-time jobs aren't suitable for a lifetime, get a stable job. So, I don't think it's bad to resign? Sometimes even if you do have a bachelor's degree doesn't mean you're guaranteed anything in life. >.<

Unless you have a job lined up, don't bother. Our job market has been bad for months, and it got a whole lot worse these last two weeks. Orlando Fl is based totally on tourism; no disposible income = no tourists = no new jobs. Last estimate I saw, the news said there were 100,000 unemployed here. Unless you have a large savings to live off of, it's probably not a good idea. I'd leave if I could.

Don't let a part time minimum wage job control your life. There are plenty of S*#@^ jobs out there (even in a recession). Work on your education (which includes traveling to become more well rounded).

if you're not going to college, and right now have just a part time job, and want to quit to go to disneyworld, i'd say your future is looking dim. if you think life is tough like this, you have no idea what it will be like in 20 years with no college degree. b...l..e..a...k get your bachelors degree girlfriend!
