Has anyone stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations SeaWorld?

Sanford Airport to International Drive? Costs, distance etc?

  • We're going to Orlando later this month from 31st August-13th September and staying at Hilton Grand Vacations SeaWorld. Our flight goes into Sanford Airport but most of the taxi fares and transport I find it from Orlando International. Can anyone help with transport cost ideas so we can get an idea of how much they should cost by cab from Sanford to International Drive or alternative methods of transport like Lynx Buses etc? The last time we went to Florida was 15 years ago so it feels brand new as everything is different.... Thank you very much in advance!

    I think you should consider landing at Orlando International Airport it is about a 15mins drive to I drive... Sanford is soooooooo far from I drive (1+/- hour) its crazy. If you cant change where you land try these http://www.orlandosanfordairport.com/taxi_limo_shuttle.asp

I strongly recommend that you consider changing your flight to Orlando International. The Sanford airport is about an hour north of the International Drive area and you will have to drive through downtown traffic on I-4. Ground transport will be very expensive, good luck.

Sanford is probably about an hour (depending on traffic) to International Drive. You might consider a rental car for your arrival date, and then again for your departure (two days total). I'm sure it'd be significantly cheaper than a taxi.

I would recommend renting a car, if possible. Sanford Airport is at least 45 min. to 1 hour from International Drive and it's not very cost effective to take a taxi...
