Does anyone have any experience with online college?

Has anyone had a good experience with the Disney College Program?

  • I'm a senior in HS, and I'm looking to do the Disney College Program my sophomore year of college... I am a Disney freak. I absolutley love it, and I heard about the internships they do for college students. I've searched the website, and overall it sounds pretty good to me. I was just wondering if any graduated CPs could give me their take on the experience. Thanks in advance! :]

    If you love Disney so much, do the program! I did a similar one, called the Cultural Representative Program. The difference is that its for 1 year and you only work (no classes) at EPCOT in your country of origin pavilion. Its the best experience I've had in my life. I don't regret doing it. You get to meet people from all over the world. You learn a lot from the best entertainment company out there. And you get many privileges from being a Cast Member, like discounts and special events.

MANY people have had a good experience with the college program. You are housed at an apartment complex that is infamous in the area for drunken orgies in the swimming pool. Happiest Place on Earth, indeed.

I have heard directly from Cast Members at the Parks that it is an excellent program but difficult to be accepted. Only so many spots open each year.
