Universal Orlando Tickets And Express pass?

I want to use the Universal Orlando hotel key as an express pass, do I need to stay on site at least 2 nights?

• I want to use the privileges of staying at a Universal on site hotel but I'm wondering if I need to stay at least two nights. If I stay only one night, would I have to turn in the key upon check out in the morning? If so, doesn't that mean I can't enjoy the express pass that day since I'd have to return the key before going to the park? Universal's site doesn't say anything about that, just that I need to present my hotel room key.

  You are right, I cannot find that anywhere either. From past experience, it used to be that your express pass stays good through the end of the day you check out, but I cannot actually support that with a source.
