What is your favorite part of Walt Disney World vacations?

  • Hello! I recently went on my third trip to Disney world in Florida and it's all I can think about! I fell absolutely in love with it! That bring said, I have a few questions: What is your favorite part of the Disney World Experience? Is it the atmosphere? Rides? Shows? And why? What is your favorite Disney park (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios or Epcot) and why? What is your favorite Disney resort and why? I will give ten points to the person who goes into the most detail! Feel free to talk about highlights of your Disney experience, Id love to hear them!

    I love the feeling of being immersed in a completely different world while I'm there, and the feeling of fascination that I have the entire time. It's just so hard to believe that someone BUILT all of that. The landscaping, architecture, and engineering just blows me away. It's without a doubt the most amazing man-made sight on planet Earth! It's SO hard to pick a favorite park. Each one has so much to offer. Magic Kingdom is my favorite one to take my kids to, since they're small and can do the most activities there. Epcot is my favorite for a date night with my husband. Epcot and Animal Kingdom are the prettiest parks, with AMAZING replicas of the countries they represent. Disney Hollywood Studios has my favorite night show, Fantasmic. There's no way I can pick one favorite. I don't really have a favorite resort yet, but there are definitely some that I'm interested in staying at during future trips: Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Contemporary and Grand Floridian. The Boardwalk area looks fun too.

Being older without kids, I love walking into the resort lobby and see the kids in front of the TV having fun while the adults check in. Also right after check in I love my first "tropical" drink at the pool bar before I walk to my room. All the tension of the flight melts away. EVERYBODY'S favorite resort has to be French Quarters-Riverside (Dixie Landings).

I love all the magic that Disney World brings. Magic Kingdom is my favorite because it's so magical and original. I've only stayed at Pop Century, so I guess that would be my favorite.

Hello! I love everything about Disney. I really don't have a favorite thing about it. The atmosphere is great though! I just love the feeling on being there, everything feels so happy and bubbly. I don't have a favorite Disney park. I truly love all of them the same and for many different reasons. I love Magic Kingdom because it is really the "Disney experience" park. I really feel like a kid again at this park considering I'm 20. :) I like Epcot because I love the ability to walk through the World Showcase and all the different countries. I have never been to a restaurant in Epcot that I did NOT like. Epcot to me, has a different atmosphere than the other three parks. This one I cannot explain lol. I love Animal Kingdom because I am an animal lover. I love their rides. Dinosaur and Expedition Everest are my two favorite rides! I love being able to view animals in their habitat on the Safari and in Rafeki's Planet Watch! :) I like Hollywood Studios because it has fun rides and attractions that make you actually feel like you're in the "movies" lol. I love Fantasmic! This is my absolute favorite show. It never gets old to me! :) My favorite resort is currently Polynesian but when they finish the Little Mermaid section at the Resort of Animation then that will be my favorite resort. I like the Polynesian because it truly feels like Hawaii. I've never had the money to stay there but I've eaten at the Spirit of Aloha Show and Ohana and I love being at this resort. It is relaxing and refreshing! I love the Little Mermaid and I cannot wait to stay there once the resort of Animation is finished. I have no doubt that it will be my favorite! Some things I want to add: I love the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show simply because the Little Mermaid is my favorite. I love Chef Mickey's its my favorite character breakfast because the food is good and I love the characters. :) Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain, Rock n' Roller Coaster, Winnie the pooh ride, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Toy Story Mania, Great Movie ride, Jungle Cruise, and the Enchanted Tiki Room are osme of my other favorite rides/attractions. :)

My favorite thing about Disney World is everything you listed. The atmosphere and how it makes you feel like a kid. How when you're there..anything can come true! The rides are just a classic. The shows are phenomenal! My favorite is Wishes at Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios. My favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast and I absolutely love the Beauty and the Beast show at Hollywood Studios. Belle is my favorite princess! My favorite ride would have to be Rock n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios. Epic ride. For the classics: Peter Pan's Flight and Splash Mountain! That is a tough question. But I will have to go with Magic Kingdom. It is what I remember most of my childhood memories. It is just so MAGICAL! :P I just turned 21 though, so I am sure I will LOVE Epcot and trying all the different drinks they will have! My favorite Disney resort is the Port Orleans Riverside. I love how it is tropical and the rooms are great, as well. They have good food at the resort, too. Alligator Bayou is my favorite. The pools are nice. I LOVE coming back from a long day at the parks to a really cold hotel and passing out with the TV on! And if it is an early day (like leaving Animal Kingdom because they close early) I love to go back and just swim in the pools! Disney World is just the most amazing place on Earth, lol. The feeling when you're there, the rides, meeting characters. I also LOVE character meals. Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom and Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom are my favorite. My Disney wedding is planned for January 25, 2013. I can NOT wait! I am already married but did the traditional court house wedding (my husbands in the US Army). So when he gets home from deployment from Afghanistan, this will be our next big thing! Can't wait!
