Yes you employee ID acts as a pass. You would also receive free tickets several times a yr. If you are a full time employee you can bring in a few members of your family with you when using your ID as a pass (It is either 2 or 3 people I can't remember which) ETA: The above is for those employeed within theWDW resort by WDW and not through a subcontractor. Employees of The Disney Store and other Disney affiliations receive a few free tickets a yr and I believe some discounts.

The above answer is correct. Your ID would serve as your ticket into a park. However, you must make sure that it is not a "block out period." There are certain times of the year in which you will not be able to get in for free. Disney employees receive free tickets twice a year, depending upon how many dependents that person has. This is also the same allotment the employee would have on their main gate pass. The main gate pass is what allows you to get X amount of people into the parks 12 times a year (basically once a month, or all 12 in one shot, etc...you catch my drift, I'm sure).
