Answer:
It is called "BUSCH Gardens" NOT "bush". It is owned by the Busch beer company. That's why that name. It is a park , yes, with lots of "wild rides", which if we remember right, there are a few that are simulated rapids and you ride in this circular kind of "boat" that would go round and round and it floats on this artificial river of water and water does get splashed inside and you WILL get wet - - soaked! Take your swimwear and wear it under shirt and pants, so when you reach this ride, you can take the outer clothes off and there are lockers you could rent to keep your outer clothing and other belongings. Take along a towel too to dry off. There are also animals like in a zoo, in between the places with rides. It is a fun place I think you might enjoy, if you are young and like those wild rides. My sons (ages 17 and 20) love it. The older one loves the rides, the wilder the better! The younger one is like me. He is not too keen on the very wild ones, but enjoyed the water ride. Their dad go along with them to keep them company but I am a "chicken". I just enjoy looking at the animals and the little souvenir stores. The whole park has an African theme, even a part where it is like Egypt. We went there a few years ago. They probably have new rides added on. They always put in new things because many people go to Buena Vista and Kissimmee where there are so many amusement parks like that, including Disney's. So, this one in Tampa has to be good to attract visitors to Tampa. Have fun!

We LUV it, we are yearly members, visit at least once a month. They have great, wet water rides. I wear , female, shorts, nylon, like running shorts. Sports bra, water proof shoes. Be comfy, bring change of clothes, in car.

Busch Gardens is in my opinion the best park in Florida if you enjoy roller coasters. BG has 6 coasters and 3 water rides. It is also one of America's largest "zoo's" housing nearly 3,000 animals. BG doesn't have a water park of it's own but right across the street you can find Adventure Island a water park owned by the same company (Busch Entertainment Corporation).

Busch gardens is the best park in Florida! Lots of roller coasters, lots of shows. Make sure you go to the Crown Colony restaurant. They have family style all-you-can-eat chicken and fish. Also free refills on your drinks. Best theme park restaurant. Enjoy!
