Hi, im planning on moving to Orlando Fl, and was wondering if anyone can tell me the good things about orlando?

    I love Orlando. It has its perks. We have pretty much anything you want. Any restaurant, retail..it is all here. We have all the great stores thanks to the tourists. It is easy to find social activities. No matter what you like to do you can find something here. (except snow skiing/snowboarding) We have alligators in our lakes. If you live near a canal you get them in your back yards. That doesn't happen that often though. If you have a dog I would be careful walking him around water. Chances are you won't even see one... well you are going to be looking for them so you might.

The alligators don't generally bother people unless they've been fed by people. Then they lose their natural fear. You will rarely see them, though they can be in any pond. There's been a few dog gulping stories around the apartments though. They don't generally get around houses unless they're next to a body of water. I'd be a lot more concerned about the thugs in the neighborhood, there's a high crime rate in Orlando. (#11 in the US) Most anything is here and there's palm trees. As you know, the weather is generally sunny & warm to hot. Economywise, I wouldn't call the quality of life in general great unless you have a better than average job. The cost of living in ratio to pay is not too good and the unemployment rate is above the national average.
