How does the disney ticket plus waterpark work?

  • I'm going to Orlando for a day. I got a one day ticket plus waterpark pass. How do I use the waterpark part of it. Do I have to go to the waterpark same day as I go to magic kingdom, or could I go magic kingdom one day, and then use the waterpark portion the next day. Please explain.

    One park and one water park in one day. However once at disney world, you can upgrade your ticket to a two or more day pass at the same discount they offer for multiday passes.

Wow, Seriously I do not think that Disney should sell a one day ticket with a waterpark and more option on it. There is no way you can enjoy the Magic Kingdom and a water park all in the same day. You have ONE full day to use the ticket. That means you can go to any of the four theme parks and two water parks in the same day. Each theme parks needs one full day to truely experience the joy and magic that is Disney. Otherwise you going in feeling rushed and start stressing out that your going to miss something or miss the bus. If you are still going to try and do the Magic Kingdom and Waterpark in the same day. I would park my car at the magic kingdom first thing in the morning. Try and get there a half and hour before park opening. Trust me it will take 10 to 15 mins from parking to get to the front gate and there will be huge crowds waiting for you. Go inside MK for a bit and check it out. Then when your ready to head to the water park. WALK to the contemporary. This saves you for waiting for any bus or monorail. Its really not that long of a walk. At the Contemporary hop on a waterpark bus to the waterpark of your choice. The waterparks always close well before the magic kingdom. So when they close I am sure the Magic kingdom will be open longer. So hop back on the contemporary bus and walk back into the magic Kingdom to close out your day. Even taking this route. Plan on almost an hour of travel between the parks. You will have buses to wait for and it just takes time to get from the bus to inside the park and enjoying the theme parks. I hope your planning on doing this in the summer when the magic kingdom is often open well past midnight.

Since you got a one-day ticket, you can only use it one day... so you'll have to go to Magic Kingdom and the waterpark in the same day.

If you have a ONE day ticket, then you can only use it for ONE day. So you would have to go to the water park and a theme park the same day. There are 4 theme parks. You can go to any ONE of them, it does not have to be MK. No, you can not use your one day ticket for more than one day. IF you bought a ONE day ticket you can not go to MK one day and then a water park another day. That is two days. You have a ONE day ticket.
