Going to Florida for two weeks. What should I pack?

Going to Florida in two WEEKS, not two months xD ?

  • Okay, I know I just asked this, but I meant weeks and not months, so the answers didn't apply as much. I need to know what I should pack and what they allow at the airports - Do they still make you get those little tiny bottles of shampoo and soap and perfume or stuff, or can you bring full sized ones? What should I pack for the plane ride and for the trip? Are shorts not a good idea for this time of year, or do you think it'll be warm enough? We're going to Sea World and Disney.

    Yes, they are still only allowing small bottles in hand luggage so pack your bigger bottles in your case. As for the weather and what to wear, I suppose it depends on what kind of weather you are used to. I would suggest some light weight long sleeve tops and a few hoodies or cardigans that can be removed if you dont need them and maybe some full length trousers but not heavy denim on days that you plan to ride water rides. For on the plane it depends on the length of the flight, maybe some magazines or an ipod? Have fun!

its a carry on: I belive that they still have that rule about the little bottles. Don't go and buy the expenisve 'travel size" companies hike up the price for that reason. Go to a store, like bed bath and beyond or even ur local grochery and they have these little bottles and travel kits were u can just fill them yourselves. Make sure you label them with a sharpie so theres no problems during ur check. What to pack depends on the lenth of time. i recommend: 2-3 bathing suits 5-6 shirts ( 2 long sleave and the rest short) 4 pants (1 jeans rest shorts) 1-2 sweatshirts underwear (panties, bras,socks) any electronic chargers 1-2 nice outfits (in case you go to dinner or something) 1-2 shoes/sandals (not including the pair u'll be wearing to the airport. don't forget feminane hygene products. even if your not "due" you wanna be safe don't forget meds (if applicable) maybe a book or ipod for on the plane. SUNSCREEN! If you are checking in your luggage: you can bring full size bottle of shampoo, conditioner etc. again i would pack the list that i wrote out above From personal experience: try to weigh your luggage at home on a digital or regular scale. I had a huge suprise when my case was 20lb over and charged me alot of money for it. unless you wanna pay unresonable "over weight" prices, make sure its under their "max weight" **** MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ID TAGS ON EVERYTHING. believe me: ITS NOT FUN LOOSING YOUR LUGGAGE AND BEING STUCK IN AN AIRPORT FOR 8 HRS WHILE THEY TRACK IT!! *** lol have fun! and i hoppe this helped

well its a bit cold right now, 30 degrees to be exact, but maybe in two weeks it will warm up, just pack up a sweater just in case, and i don't know about the small bottles but i think it is still applicable

What you should pack for the plane ride are books, music, you could bring coloring books w/crayons or colored pencils haha, oh & also magazines. But also being jeans too. The nights can be chilly. Even in summer it can. Also bring a few sweaters, zipups, & sweatshirs. Have fun! :)

I live in Florida now and THIS week it's really cold So in two weeks i don't think it'll be really cold so pack bermudas or shorts but in case bring some jeans. The usual stuff I guess And I don't think they still do that. I brought my shampoo and they didn't say anything

go to weather.com type in Orlando, FL as the search and then click the 10 day forecast it will give you an idea. I will be leaving for Disney on 2/14/09! As of right now I am planning on taking summer clothes, but also a pair of jeans and a jacket just in case it's cold. But the last time I was there in Feb. it was really nice!

i live like 2 hours from disney and its COLD right now. idk when you are actually visiting but right now i would bring light sweatshirts and pants. i think it should warm up soon... try weather.com to see when but trust me when i say this, DONT WEAR JEANS TO DISNEY! ugh its awful walking around in them all day and if you go on a water ride and get soaked it just sucks =[

i live in florida n its freezing down here. n i dont kno what yu have to do for plains cuz i never been on a plain. but yeah bring jeans n sweaters. i wore to sweaters to keep warm so yeah. it mite be warmer next week but im not sure flrorida is wierd the weather changes alot. so jus bring some shorts n some jeans.

No need to take anything for plane bacause there are personal TV screens for everyone (this is if u are flying wiv virgin atlantic). You can see what they are showing on the plane for this month and next month on the Virgin Atlantic website.
