I don't know about camping in USA but I went camping LOADS in France cause I'm English. But I suggest you stick with a very famous camp resort and camp at their resorts. Their should be one in America. Now you want to look at their brossure. I like large camp sites with activities close by the camp site so you can drive, with good facilities (hence using the famous resort rather than lesser known ones) also go for NEW campsites.
