Disney International Program.

Has anyone participated in Disney's International College Program Summer Work Experience at Walt Disney World?

• I love Walt Disney World, and am seriously considering this. So if anyone has participated in this program I would love to hear what they thought of it! What was it like? Did you get free admission to the Disney theme parks? Was the pay good? What were the hours like? What were the apartments like? Did you meet lots of new people? I'd love to hear what you think, and if you would recommend it!

  I have not personaly participated in the program but I work at Disney and have worked with and remain friends with many people who have done the program. It can be a very fun program if you like the job your doing. You will work a lot of long hours. A lot of times you will feel like your practically living in the park. A 18 hour day is not unheard of. I know they will often work park open to close. This doesnt mean its not fun. you will work with a lot of awesome people and Disney does try to make the work place fun. Disney provides college progam participates with housing. You will sleep in a room with another person. So your three bedroom apartment will have six people living in it. Its a very nice apartment with a nice pool and is also gaurded. You do get in free to the parks anytime. You will also get a main gate pass that will allow you to get in friends and family a certain amount of days. ON top of this you get discounts on food, merchandise and hotel rooms. You will meet and work with people from all over the world. Its a lot of fun because we end up spending so much time together and share similar experiences that we become a family. You end up hanging with them on days off and often end up staying friends after your tour is up. Its a fantastic program if you ever been curious about working at Disney. It will also be great to have on your resume. I have gone to interviews and all they want to talk is about is my experiences at Disney. People love us.
