Answer:
We went on the 4-night Disney cruise twice, several years ago. We loved them both. We learned some hints from our first cruise that helped on our second cruise. Of course things could have changed, so always check beforehand. -If you show up earlier than boarding time, they have a nice buffet. -When you are going on an excursion they offer you bottles of water. It sounds like they are free, but they're not. They are very expensive. Bring your own water bottle & fill it with water. -The kids clubs are great! -If you want to dine in the adults only restaurant, you need to make a reservation for that as soon as you get on board. It fills up fast. -Each evening, you receive an itinerary for the next day. Bring along a highlighter & mark whatever you're interested in, so you don't miss anything. -Only soft drinks are included with meals, not alcohol or smoothies. -The food at the snack bars was included with our trip & we didn't know it. -They had a mug you could by, that they refilled for free (like they do at the Disney resorts). -In the evenings they had a cart out on the top deck, where you could get free drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate & soda). -Make sure to carry your outfit for dinner on board, because you may not get your suitcase delivered before dinner. -On the day you disembark, have everything ready to go the night before, because the leaving process in the morning is very early & fast. -Bring your passport. -Don't forget your sunscreen, light rain jacket, & sunglasses. You may want to bring binoculars, to see things in the distance. -When you go to Castaway Cay, get off the ship early, so you can get some nice pictures with the characters, in their nautical attire. They do not stay out all day. -You can rent special equipment to go out on the water at Castaway Cay. Find out if they will be having any special events. We participated in beach games that were a lot of fun. The lunch is fabulous! -Our daughter was little at the time, so we ordered her food off of the children's menu, but she enjoyed adult food more. We found out later, that we could order items for her from the adult menu. She really enjoyed that. We also found out that we could order anything we wanted...like two appetizers, another dinner or two desserts (not that we could eat that much. LOL), but we could mix it up anyway we wanted. Have Fun!!!

I was on one of them (the Wonder or Magic...can't remember which) about 10 years ago, and it was awesome. I'm not sure how old you are, but for the kids, there is a lounge-type area where teenagers can hang out and meet each other. There's also a video arcade. If you're into sports, there is an ESPN Zone. There are several pools, as well as multiple themed restaurants. The ships stop at Nassau in the Bahamas, and Castaway Kay, which is Disney's own private island. Castaway Kay is AMAZING. White sand, blue water, terrific atmosphere. I would assume the Dream is going to have the same features / go the same places as the other ships. Have fun!

I've been on one before. I went for a birthday when I was twelve. It was a lot of fun. I loved it. Heck, Id probably go on another one again if I could.
