What is your favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World in Florida?

  • Booking reservations for WDW, just wondering what some of the best restaurants are. We are staying at the Grand Floridian, but we will dine anywhere in the 'World' Thanks!!!

    My favorite is the Garden Grill in Epcot. The food is amazing and the restaurant itself will slowly rotate, giving you a glimpse inside one of the rides as people ride it! The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Fort Wilderness is a close second. It is a dinner show that I have been to many times. It is so much fun, and I always laugh so much there! I also like Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary, but it is mostly because I have memories of going there as a kid. It is a personal classic for me. We also always do Crystal Palace (buffet) in Magic Kingdom. We have gone for breakfast and for other meals and it is always really good. It is definitely my favorite restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

We have several favorites. -All the restaurants in the World Showcase are great. We especially enjoy Morocco. They have live music & a belly dancer. The food is very good. -Coral Reef in Epcot is lovely, because you get to watch the sea life, while you dine. It's pricey, but a great experience. -'Ohana-Polynesian-fabulous food.Entertainment. You can watch the Wishes fireworks on the evenings they have it. -Boma's-Animal Kingdom Lodge. Great buffet. Lovely atmosphere. Sanaa-Kidani Village. They have floor to ceiling windows, where you can watch the animals while yo dine. -Jiko's-AKL-This is more for adults. The food is more spicy. The walls of the restaurant change colors, depicting the African sunset. Crystal Palace-Magic Kingdom-Lovely atmosphere, overlooking the MK castle. Lively Winnie the Pooh characters. Great buffet. Whispering Canyon Cafe-Very lively & fun atmosphere. Great ribs. Tusker House-Animal Kingdon-nice buffet. Chef Mickey's-Contemporary Resort-Lively atmosphere. Good food. Have fun!

First off, the Grand Floridan is a beautiful hotel, I am sure you will love it! As for resaruants, I've never had a poor expierience at any of them! It is so hard to pick my favorites, but her are some I think anyone would enjoy. Chef Mickey's Breakfast The Contemporary Resort This is a must. Chef Mickey's is a casual buffet breakfast with characters! It is fun and relaxing for the whole family, plus, they have great pancakes! The Coral Reef Dinner Epcot This place is so cool. The whole restaurant is "in" an aquarium, so you can see all the fish and animals swim around. It is an expierience like no other! The T-Rex Cafe Downtown Disney Dinner This place is so cool. It is set up like you are in a prehistoric ice cave, with dinosaurs that actually move around all the tables! And the food is amazing! If you go, try the nachos, they are unbelievable! The Sci-Fi Diner Hollywood studios This place is just fun! They show old-fashioned commercials while you dine in 60's cars. It is popular among all ages! Teppan Edo Epcot In this Japanese restaraunt, they cool delicious food right in front of you! It is yummy, and so cool to watch the onion valcanoes and sushi rolls! One of my favorites is the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Hollywood Studios. I love the Drive-In Theatre style atmosphere. I also like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. Mac and Cheese and the Mickey Mousse Domes. :-) Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. I also like for Quick Service Cosmic Ray's at Magic Kingdom and Pizza Planet at Hollywood Studios.

Bongo's Cuban Cafe at Downtown Disney. My wife and I eat there every time we go to Orlando and it's awesome! Also Rainforest Cafe, again at Downtown Disney, is good too. You HAVE to go to Bongo's though while you're there.

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Their Tuna Oscar is the best meal I have ever had in my life. I have to run right now, but will come back and edit adding some comments on our other favorites later tonight.

Most of the restaraunts are awesome. If you want a classier dining experience, I recommend "Artist Point" at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
