What do you guys think of upper Darby, PA?

Moving to Orlando FL from Stroudsburg PA, I need an advice?

• Folks I am making 95k a year in stroudsburg PA. I got an offer to move to Orlando FL for 82K with full benefit. What do you guys think about that?. I have lived in the northeast for 5 years and i do really need to move out, but i am little bit worried about this change. What do you think about it?. Is Orlando a nice place for a couple in the late 20th with an infant?. Please guys, advise? Where to rent an apartment in Orlando?

  82K is pretty good in Orlando...I suggest you look at seminole county (I live in Oviedo/winter springs/tuscawilla area)...it's mostly (90%) white and the schools are outstanding, with zero crime (well not zero but we live in a $400K house and half of our doors never get locked)...some parts of orlando proper are fine but some are pretty questionable. I don't want to come off as racist but having lived here all my life and there has been a tremendous influx of hispanics the last 15 years...parts of orlando are pretty crime ridden now so just get to know the area before you decide where to live...your child is just an infant so schools may not be important yet, but again the orlando schools are pretty questionable...seminole county is much better (best schools in the state)...our local HS was ranked among the best in the nation (Oviedo HS)
