Any adivce on Orlando, Florida holiday?
-
I am leaving for Orlando with my daughter (16) and my son (12, and also in a wheelchair but can walk for small distances) in 5 days and am looking for any advice. This is what we are planning for the two weeks - 24th - Arrive - WonderWorks 25th - SeaWorld 26th - Aquatica - Universal City Walk 27th - Magic Kingdom 28th - Blizzard Beach - Downtown Disney 29th - Discovery Cove (plus dolphin Swim) 30th - Hollywood Studios 1st - Busch Gardens 2nd - Typhoon Lagoon - Trey Songz Concert @ Universal Studios 3rd - Animal Kingdom - Disney’s Boardwalk 4th - Epcot 5th - Island Of Adventure 6th - Wet’n’Wild 7th - Universal Studios 8th - Florida Mall I know its a lot to cram into the two weeks - we are counting the waterparks as rest days for my son and I. Also any good places to eat when we arrive which are around the econolodge(where we are staying) or wonderworks. How long would we spend in each park considerign we wont have to wait in much of a que as my son uses a wheelchair. Also are there wheel chair accesses for the waterparks? Our hotel does free travel to the Disney Parks and for the rest of them we shall be using the I-trolley. Any tips on anythign at all would be much appreciated, even if its somethign i may not of mentioned here, thanks

Answer:
There is absolutely no reason to do any of the water parks except maybe aquatica and discovery cove. Wet N Wilds is all stairs. As for Busch Gardens plan 2 hours up and 3-4 hours back. Tampa rush hour 5 o clock traffic is horrendous and can land you sitting in it for hours.

Bring an umbrella! It likes to rain there a lot so some of your plans could be delayed. If so a good place to go is downtown Disney! It has every Disney character in there with cooking stuff to toys to keychains and shoes and etc. It's good for a day in case it rains! It rained a lot when I was there for my vacations but it is really fun! I hope you enjoy your time there!!!^^

I have live in orlando my whole life and i am even surprised that you are going to basically every good park. Blizzard beach will be packed sense it is hot as hell right now but i would personally cut out wet'n'wild because after you go to blizzard beach you will be spoiled when it comes to water parks. I haven't been to Aquatica yet but i hear good things. Just bring sun screen (if you are not used to the sun and heat) and an umbrella. I hope you have fun in sunny orlando.
