Sea World Aquatica Water Park Discount Promotional Code?

Which second park should we choose? Sea World or Aquatica?

  • My bf and I are going to Busch Gardens and have to pick a second park for our vacation package. We are in our mid 20's and I would like to go to Aquatica, but by looking at the park map, it looks like it caters more to kids. The rides don't look very thrill-seeking. What do u think? Do u think a couple in their mid 20's would like Aquatica? But then again i like the idea that we will be at a theme park one day then at a water park the next day. help us decide plz!

    If your looking for a water park, I would suggest going to Adventure Island. its the water park that is right next door to Busch Gardens, and its closer than Aquatica/sea world which are about an hour or so away. Aquatica is kind of lame and seeks more towards the kids 10 and under. Adventure Island is for the older kids with more thrill rides, plus its bigger park than aquatica is. I personally like AI better. I spent a whole day at AI, but when i went to Aquatica, i ended up going to SW mid-day because I got pretty bored. but, if you have to choose between Sea World and Aquatica, I would say Sea World. SW is family-friendly, but a lot more mature. It has a few rides, an observation tower, and a bunch of sea animals and shows. (Shamu is a must-see and seating fills up quickly, so go early to get a good seat). Aquatica has some rides, but I was pretty disapointed when I went.

I would choose Sea World. For one thing, Aquatica is always PACKED. They usually fill up to capacity before the morning is over. Sea World has a few adult rides there, including the new Manta roller coaster; also they serve beer there, including free samples at the hospitality house, so that makes it geared toward adults. The shows are amazing, as are the animals. And the animals are mostly marine animals (the exceptions being the Budweiser Clydesdales), which are totally different from the animals you will see at Busch Gardens. I could spend a whole month there!

I have just returned from Florida and have visited these parks! Sea World has many fantastic shows that you would enjoy! It also has three thrilling rides (Manta, Kraken, and a water ride). On Manta you are on your stomach! It feels as if you are flying through the air! Kraken is extremely long with many loops and turns! It almost NEVER has a line!!! Aquotica is also fun! If it is extremely hot it is quite refreshing, but it is geared more so towards kids! Most of the slides and atractions would probably not be that thrilling to you! I feel that you would have way more fun at Sea World!!! You could always check out their websites for more information!!! I hope My oinion helped!!!

I dont think people in their mid 20s should vacation at these amusement offerings. You should do work that actually helps people, like running a volunteer hot dog truck for the homeless, or perhaps handing out blankets and swaddling cloth to leper colonies in micronesia or somewhere in the remote Indian Ocean. You can do better than rides when people would beg for a hot dog in many parts of the world.
