What is a good jacket for Michigan Winter?

Need a good New York Winter Jacket? North Face?

• Hi, i'm looking to buy a jacket for the cold winter months in New York. I was thinking North Face, but I'm open to suggestions. I would like it to be somewhat lightweight, not too bulky. I will mostly just be walking in it, but I will be doing some light activity in it as well. I was thinking the North Face Cipher Hybrid Jacket or the North Face Elixer Jacket, but I don't know if those will be warm enough. I do not want to spend more than ~$160. Any links would be great!   North Face should have some pretty good options that fit your criteria. I have one myself and it's not bulky at all. It is a lighter jacket so it was only $80 but from what I remember most jackets of theirs will definitely be in your price range. Also you'll want something that is water resistant rather than fleece material for snowy/rainy days.
