How can I get tickets to Tila Tequila's New Years Eve Masquerade 2008?!?!?

I'm ashamed to say that we came from the same country. For a moment, I thought she's Hispanic. I was released until I found out last night that she's not. She's nothing that our people and our culture are about.

As a Vietnamese, I hope and pray that won't be another sequence of her show on TV. She portrayed a wrong image of Asian women. I wish she never revealed her identity. I don't care if it's NY or anyone else, just don't have another show like her show on TV. She embarrassed all of us.

If MTV is running it, check their website and write them or her website/myspace. It is prob. invitation only. There might be tickets through the local radio station or mtv.com but chances are there will be an agency looking for "young beautiful people" types for the camera, and is a controlled environment as far as guests (you) go. Chances are relatives of staff and guests of hers will get priority. I also think the people who work at the MTV clothing store get to go as a perk. But if you do, it is a good view overlooking the crowd. Forget Marriott Marquis... $$$$$, and unless you know someone who works in Times Square to get in and out of the barricades, after 6PM you're locked in place for 6 hours. But experiencing it once is all you need.

Fan-atic may have good info for you, but according to a story I read this New Years Party is being held in the MTV studios in Times Square. These studios are not that big and I imagine that MTV Execs , area artists/ celebs and employees would have first shot. It is hard to imagine anything available for sale to the General Public.
