• I am going to the tree lighting at rockefeller center on Wednesday and I know that Rockefeller Center is actually a few blocks, but I want to know where to go so that I will be where the performers are, as in where is the stage where they all perform? Is it right by the tree or in a different area? Here is a map so you can tell me exactly where to go. This question is mostly for people who have already went and therefore know what it was like. I want to know so I ca be sure of just where to go. maps.google.com Then type in Rockefeller Center NYC; you can zoom in, and it is between Avenue of the Americas and 5th Avenue and 48th Street and 51st Street. I want to know exactly which part of this area the stage is.

  You need to go to the big plaza, near the tree. If you get there early enough you'll see where the stage is set up and you'll be able to pick your spot. Walk on either 50th or 51st St, and about halfway down the block you'll see the tree. Turn in there.
