How to get to Philadelphia from New York by public transportation?

Transportation from Washington DC to New York..?

  • Hello, does anybody know how I can get from Washington DC (or vice versa) to New York. I also want to visit New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Baltimore which are located between the two cities. I'm thinking about a bus which can let me stop for awhile in each cities (new jersey, philadelphia, baltimore) and then the last stop would be to New York. What's the most efficient transportation for this? Please help... Thank you in advance.

    I use Greyhound for Washington, DC/New York Travels. For New York, NY/Philadelphia, PA travels, use Bolt Bus. GotoBus.com should be able to give you options to break up the trip. That way, you only use one service and can get a bargain. For NJ, it is better to take the PATH train over with your PPR MetroCard.
