What are the best places to shop in Paris?

I live in New York City but am going to Paris with my Mom.What are some nice places to shop?

    Everywhere you look! Galleries Lafayette is a nice, big department store with lots of different designers (Like a French Bloomingdale's). Porte de Clignancourt Marche aux Puces is an awesome Flea Market where you can find anything & everything. Walk down the Faubourg Sainte Honore for the expensive designer shops. Lots of cute boutiques all along Blvd. St. Germain.
