Is there a bus from Philly to the Newark airport?

If I take bus from Boston to NYC, How can I from NYC to Newark airport?

  • actually I need to arrive Newark airport before 9pm May 10, but I'm in Boston now, I don't know how can I take public transportation from Boston to Newark airport.

  • Answer:

My friend, for get the bus, you're in Boston and you need to get the Newark International Airport by 9pm. The fastest way to get there will be taking Amtrak. Amtrak's Regional service stops at Newark International Aiport station. From the train station you can take the Newark Monorail to the terminals. The fare on the Amtrak is $90 and on the Newark Monorail to the airport terminals is $5. Good luck Native New Yorker

The easiest way would be to just get on a southbound Amtrak train in Boston and get off at the station at Newark Airport.

I agree with Native NYers. Amtrak ticket holder can flash their Amtrak ticket to avoid $5.50 fee on Airtrain Newark.

Once you get to the Port Authority in NYC, either walk the 9 blocks down 8th Ave (its not a bad walk at all), or take the A,C,E,1,2 or 3 train downtown one stop to Penn Station. At Penn Station, purchase a ticket on New Jersey Transit for Newark International Airport. The only two lines that go there are the Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line Trains (bound for Trenton, Jersey Ave, Long Branch and Bay Head). Look at the monitors for any one of the destinations that say EWR next to it. Once the track is announced, board the train, and the airport is the stop right after Newark Penn (either the second of third stop depending if the train stopped in Secaucus or not)

Fall Beauty

Nj Transit trains from New York Penn Station to the Newark Airport station. The Newark airport station has a tram that leads you out to the terminals. Nj transit trains leave about every 15mins and cost is only around 12$. There are other ways as well, but this is by far the easiet and its not even worth messing around with busses. Of course you could always take a taxi but that gets expensive.

I suggest taking a shuttle... http://www.airlinknyc.com/ a lot cheaper than a taxi
