Does anyone know of a good IT recruiter in Manhattan?

Anyone know of any cheap *** hotels in Manhattan, NY????

  • ok so i need to be there 12/28/06 - 01/04/06 and i cant spend more than $1,200. transportation is all taken care of & everything else. so anyone know how or where to stay in manhattan (close to times square, ill be walking everywhere with my friend) any help is more appreciated then you know, thanks!!!!!!

    I'm sorry I do respect the fact if you have a budget you need to limit to, but what you are asking is the impossible. First you are asking for Champagne on a beer budget, second this is Manhattan over New Years. This is one of the BIGGEST places FOR New Years. Thirdly you should have looked into this MONTHS ago, why are you just looking now? The rates in this area are high year round, but over your dates they are tripled. Plus you always will pay for preferred location and that is what you are asking for. I only foresee this as possible if you up your budget, shorten your stay or stay further out from Manhattan which does put a damper on the whole walking everywhere situation. I'm assuming you are asking on here because you are finding nothing that you want to see price wise. Sorry, but the longer you wait the more price can and will go up as well as availability goes out the door. Best of Luck to you, unfortunately you are definitely going to need it.

Ive stayed at a hotel called the Marcel before which was cute and very cost effective http://www.nyc.com/hotels/MARCEL_HOTEL.16262/editorial.aspx It is in a cute section of nyc but not a sightseeing section, It would be really quick and cheap to take the bus across town, though, and it is very worthwhile. Since it is not right near times square, I looked up hotels and found this other cheap one, however I cannot vouch for it as I have not stayed there. http://www.grandunionhotelnewyork.com/ BOOK RIGHT AWAY!!! Things fill up fast. I noticed that these may go over your budget as prices rise on new years so here are two other options: try this site http://www.justnewyorkhotels.com/ or try http://newyork.craigslist.org/vac/ where people rent out their apartments by the night while they leave the city for their vacations.

That's a tough one. And it is even tougher because you are looking to spend the New Year's Eve, a time when rates go up considerably. Hotels.com will give you some idea about your options, but again it is tough. You may also try looking for short term furnished apt rentals. the price for those dates, location and quality of a 3 star are unrealistic. If you are willing to lower your standards you can go to the YMCA or the International Youth Hostel.

There is a place on Forsyth Street in Chinatown. You can probably pull off 1200 bucks for those days. Literally a 1 min walk to the subway and a 10 minute ride up to Times Square. Let it be our little secret! Shhh!

If they have rooms, try the pickwick arms on 51st street. It is cheap (for NYC). Good luck
