How much money i would need to live in new york for 12 days..?

    Are you living in New York for 12 Days or just visiting for 12 Days? I suggest 3-5 Grand will do you good. The Rent can be pricey. There are cheaper places you can Rent but they are located in very dangerous life threatening Boroughs. I suggest Manhattan is a great place to live for 12 Days. Have fun!

My friend, if you're not going to shop while in New York City, then $1000 is perfect for a 12 day trip to the Big Apple. You're most likely will have some left over after your trip, but its better safe than being sorry. Now, if you going to be doing some shopping while in the Big Apple, then I would recommend adding another $1000 to the money you already have to cover any shopping you're going to do while in town. Shopping in New York is fantastic and you will get great deals. I hope this information is very helpful. Good luck

Not unless you'll be staying in a hostel and eating at cheap restaurants and doing things that are low-cost or free. A nice hotel will be close to $200/night. December is an expensive time to visit NYC, but also very pretty, with all the lights, etc.
