It's a very nice hotel. I can't tell you much about the rooms, but my old company always had their Christmas parties in the ballroom there, and it's really lovely on the inside, and the people who work there tend to be nice. It's pretty upscale, though, so I imagine it's expensive. It's in a good location if you're coming to New York for business or tourism; right in midtown, near Times Square and Rockefeller Center.

The rates flucuate like any hotel in NYC. Christmas time it can cost $500, in the late summer, the same room would be $200. It is a nice "classic" hotel. It will have most of the services that you would expect from a good hotel, and it is centrally located. I had me wedding there and they were nice to us, but we were spending A LOT of money there.
