Unfortunately, my friend, you will need to either drive or arrange for someone to drive you from Medford, NJ to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station and then take Greyhound from there to Ithaca or Syracuse, NY. There is no bus or rail service from Medford to either Philly and NYC. Medford is only 20 miles east of Philly, which means you can get there in about 30 minutes. Purchasing a tickets for the bus at Philly-30th Street station is very easy. Just show up to the ticket window for Greyhound and purchase you ticket. You can purchase either a one way or a round trip ticket. By the way, a one way ticket from Philly to Ithaca or Syracuse will cost you around $80. Good luck Native New Yorker
