Inexpensive boutiques/stores to go in New York City?

  • I'm going to New York City for the weekend and I have a few places in mind that I would like to go shopping... but they are all really expensive. I want to go to Kid robot and free people because they do not have them where I live but I most likely will not be able to buy anything.. I think that I will also go to H&M... where are some other cute inexpensive places to go shop in the big apple?

    Check out Century 21 Department Store. They have cheap brand name clothes for women, kids and men. :) It's located right across the street from the World Trade Center site. H&M has a few locations through-out the city. There are 2 on 34th Street. One is on the corner of 34th Street and 7th Avenue. There's another one right next door to the Victoria's Secret on 34th Street and Herald Square.

I recommend going down 8th street between Broadway (NYU) and Avenue of the Americas (Greenwich)! You will hit stores like Laila Rowe and Joyce Leslie. There are also lots of shops closer towards Ave. of Americas that are very unique and boast one-of-a-kind bags and jewelry. Also, try SO GOOD Jewelry ot 496 Broadway (SoHo) or 28 W. 38th Street.
