Where are the cheapest apartments in NY?

I currently live in queens and about to go out.but i dont know where to exactly go.please tell me what part is the cheapest.i can make out with any situation or community.i need it to be around queens or manhattan cuz maybe ill go college there.

Don't know much about New York.. but I know enough to know that there is no such thing as cheap there. More appropriate would be Least Expensive. LOL
