What is it like to manage a Penn Station?

What's the best/fastest way to get from New York Penn Station to Dunellen Station, New Jersey?

  • I can't seem to find a way to get from Penn Station to the Dunellen Station. I don't care if there are other stops on the way (switching trains), I just need help on how to do so. The only other station that is closer to me would be the New Brunswick station in New Jersey, but that's farther than the Dunellen Station. I don't really want to use that as an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Cheapest way: 1. Paid $1.75 on PATH train at 33rd St-6th Av. Then take Journal Sq train but avoid Journal Sq-33rd St via HOboken) to last stop, Journal Sq. 2. From Newark Penn Station, purchase ticket from ticket window or vending Machine. From Newark Penn Station: To New Brunswick via Northeast Corridor cost $7.25 one way To Dunellen Station via Raritan Valley Line, it cost $6 one way.
