What are some hotels/motels under $100 a night in Greenwich Village ny?

    If you notice - the chelsea suggestion was a hostel - not a hotel - two very different things. Other than that I have heard of a convent that charges $85 a night somewhere in Chelsea - but you have to book like 6 months in advance. Besides that, you just arn't going to find anything for less than $100 in Greenwich Village. Manhattan is expensive and the area you are interested in is a highly regarded. Just bite the bullet and pay out if you want to stay anywhere in Manhattan, other than that look for rooms in New Jersey, Queens or Brooklyn where you can save some money.

Don't think you're going to want to stay in any hotel or motel that charges less than $100/night in NYC.... It will either be a dump or in a bad neighborhood or both.
