How old do you have to be to work in Hartford hospital?

I work in New York and my wife in Hartford. We want to live in Stamford so its easier for both.. is it feasibl

    I agree with the last person. Your commute to New York would be a breeze from Stamford. Your wife's commute would be much further and longer and hectic. I think New Haven is a better mid-point. EDIT: I've never used Amtrak. I take Metro North from New Haven. If you've taken Amtrak from Stamford to Hartford, and the schedule matches up for you, then maybe Stamford is a good choice. I just personally wouldn't want to drive between Stamford and Hartford, but a train could work (and it would be much less stressful). Check the Amtrak schedule, good luck!

There is no public transportation to Hartford...there is no way you two can live in Stamford and she travel to the capital. Hartford is about a couple hour drive and CT traffic is hectic...Hartford is in a different county than Stamford...you two can always live in New Haven...it is somewhat closer to Hartford and there is daily trains to New York

Definitely feasible. In your case it would be better to take Metro-North from Stamford into Grand Central. Your wife's commute will be a semi breeze from Merritt/Wilbur Cross, though she'll bump into the Hartford area traffic along I-91. Stamford in both cases is about an hour or so for the both of you.

Yes that's completely feesible, you can take the train into NYC from Stamford, and your wife can drive the hour north to Hartford, and it would be a bit of a reverse commute for her because the majority of people in Stamford commute to NYC. Its also a bit more affordable to live in Stamford.
