Fun things in Philly for BDAY?

What are some fun things to for a day trip to NYC? (16th bday! : ] )?

• I'm going to NYC on Saturday November 14th for my 16th birthday : ) My mum and me are taking a bus trip for the day! I'm very excited! What are some fun things to see/do there? Unique things, I don't care for the statue of liberty or the empire state building, bah! I want shops and food and culture : ) Any particular restaurants that are delicious and cheap? (Preferably vegan or with vegan options please!) Shops that sell unique clothes that aren't ungodly expensive? Places to see? Neighborhoods to walk through? I only have a day to do things though! Also is it hard to navigate streets etc? My mom wants a map but I assured her that we'll be fine without one! How does one navigate trains? Please help and thank you in advance! : )

  i used to live in nyc =[ but i moved a few months ago i go there every week end tho i suggest going to soho, many celebs go there and theres so much fashion i use to live in soho and it was surronded by art and fashion and models bbut be careful about crime, your probably gonna get ripped off a lot and stay out of harlem and other broughs other than manhattan maybe queens but thats not very exciting for tourists go to central park, and check out time square and all that and its very hard to navigate streets, im a nyc native (well use to be) and i used to get lost like evey day anyways xD Be careful on the trains.
