Where are good places to live in Staten island?

Live music in Staten island ?

  • Okay so my friends and i are going over to new york (staten island) for a few weeks this summer and we want to go see some live music, preferably from some not to famous but still good bands. Indie is our prefered genre we're all only 17 or 18 and we would prefer somewhere in or near staten island because we have NO sense of direction. Where would be the best place to go? or what bands would you suggest we keep a look out for?

    Staten Island? For a few weeks? Wow, dude, that would be like going to England and spending the entire time in Cambridge, which was recently declared "The Most Boring Place In England" (see link, below). Even if you have no choice but to stay in Staten Island, god help you, you should go into Manhattan every day on the ferry, and THAT'S where you'll find the live indie music you seek (see 2nd link, below).
