How much would a week trip to NYC cost?

• There's a NYC trip through my school going to Washington dc to see Gettysburg and the cemetery, the white house and lincoln memorial, and then NYC to see a broadway show, your choice of a smithsonian museum, grand central station, Ellis island/ the statue of liberty, and guided tours at all these places. The cost of this trip is around 1200 dollars. If I were to go on a trip like this by myself, I would want to do all the NYC things and go to providence rhode island instead to visit the college I'd like to go to. What I'm wondering is how much would the trip that I'd like to go on cost? I'm trying to figure put how good of a deal the first trip is. Thank you!
