What's it like visiting New York?

Whats living in or visiting new york like?

  Do your research. You want to make sure that you at least come to visit first and can handle the pace of the city. Also don't believe that you can just come here and it will all fall into place, like anywhere else you have to work at it it may take some time. You want to also find proper SAFE living quarters. Street A maybe wonderful however, around the corner on street B may be a living noghtmare! New York is a hard city and during this recession it is even worse. If you are a fighter get ready to "put um up" if you are not a fighter you will be with time. New York makes you hard thats the only way to survive. However it is one of the Best cities! Seriously. You will either love it or hate it there really is no in between. One thing that will keep you sane is to keep old friends and make new one's if you decide to move here. You will be one little fish in a big pond and it will be your saving grace to have a few others swimming with you. Take it from me I moved here in 2008 although it has been HARD. It is the best move I have made. Good Luck! PS... Pay attention when on trains getting lost is not a joke.
