Is New York City a good place for a teenager to live in?

  • My mom got a new job with a company in New York City and we're moving there in the next sixth months. I've ALWAYS dreamed of going, but I never thought it'd happen....I especially never thought I'd end up living there! I'm 17, and my mom is a single parent (She has a good job, don't worry!). Is this a good place to live? I've heard it's great to visit, but not to live. I'm very artistic and musical though so I think I'd love it, right?

My friend, you should consider yourself lucky that you can live in New York City and your mom has a good job to afford the high cost of live in this town. New York City get a lot of visitors during the years and many of them choose to come back and stay here, because of the hustle and bustle that this city has to offer. Good luck

It's really nice here. I'm 14, and I've lived here my whole life. I'm also, pretty artistic- and yes, this city definitely is. I'm even going to LaGuardia high school next year~! But yeah, getting back on track. It should be pretty awesome. Make sure to have fun here! :D
