I'm under 18 years old, and I want to stay in Manhattan, New York, this summer. Where can I stay for cheap?

I'm almost 16, and I really need to make this happen. I want to attend some classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and I need to stay in the city (preferably in Chelsea) for about three weeks. Commuting is not an option, and I can't afford to spend a lot on the housing! THANK YOU!
