I'm not sure what you mean by "etc." but you should probably work in Central Park, the Empire State Building, a walk around Greenwich Village, the New York Stock Exchange. More time? Get out to the Bronx and catch a game at Yankee Stadium. If you don't have time to get to the Bronx Zoo (HIGHLY recommended) at least get to the Central Park Zoo. Take a train down to Coney Island and walk on the boardwalk eating some Nathan's, take a ride on the Cyclone and spend a cool hour at the Aquarium. Times Square in the evening for the lights. And don't forget to walk around inside Grand Central Terminal.

I would be sure to catch a Broadway show, it wouldn't matter to me what was showing, I'd just love to see a performance on Broadway!

Go to Bell Blvd. in Bayside Queens tomorrow night. There's a bar called First Edition. When you get there, ask the bartender if Andy is there. If he is tell him he's a fat bastard and should grow up and stop hanging out in that bar. Tell him he's getting too old to pick up the young hotties that hang out on Bell Blvd. Then buy him a beer and a shot and tell him J told you to tell him that.

There are plenty of exciting places to visit in New York City. I will name my top favorites: Central Park ( an oasis for New Yorkers). It's about 3 miles long. While you're there don't forget to pass by Tavern on the Green, the fountain, Alice in Wonderland statue, the rowboats, the bowbridge, the Belvedere Castle, the carousel,etc-----> http://www.centralpark.com/pages/general-info.html Directions----> http://www.centralpark.com/pages/general-info/directions.html The Metropolitan Museum of Art (the largest museum in the western hemisphere)----> http://www.metmuseum.org/home.asp Location and directions----> http://www.metmuseum.org/visitor/index.asp?HomePageLink=visitor_l#directions Bryant Park (nice green spot surrounded by tall business buildings, the public library, carousel, fountain, etc). It is midway between Times Square and Grand Central---> http://www.bryantpark.org/ Directions and Park Hours----> http://www.bryantpark.org/hours-info.php Times Square (often referred to as the "crossroads of the world"). It is better going seeing Times Square at night because of all the lights on the buildings, even better than if you see it by day---> http://www.timessquare.com/guide/ Times Square Live Webcam----> http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/ Empire State Building (currently the tallest building in New York City. The store is located at the south corner of Central Park and 5th avenue General info about the store and things you can see there----> http://www.fao.com/custsvc/custsvc.jsp?sectionId=117 South Street Seaport (located on a waterfront with view of a historical ship and view of Brooklyn Bridge)----> http://www.southstreetseaport.com/html/ Hours and Location---> http://www.southstreetseaport.com/html/Mallinfo.asp Chinatown and Little Italy-------> http://www.drvoyageur.com/guides/walknyc-china.html * If you are tourist first visiting New York City, seeing a Broadway show isn't as important because of all the sight seeing and walking you'll be doing and you'll probably be exhausted afterwards anyway. Besides a lot of New Yorkers have never seen a Broadway show, so you are not missing out on that one. The tickets to any Broadway show are more expensive during the tourist season. If you really want to see a Broadway show and are not picky about which shows you want to see, you can stand in line at the "TKTS" booth in times square but the lines are pretty long, though, and you can find yourself standing in line for hours if it gets pretty busy. They are only for unsold seats at random Broadway shows for the day and they accept cash only, if I remember well. They are cheaper than if you were to buy them at the facility but it doesn't guarantee that your seats will be great. Hope this helps! And enjoy your trip! :)

Ellis Island- same Fery as the Statue just stay on the boat as long as you're in the area check out the U.S. customs house at the foot of BWY - inside there is a pair of the most increible spiral staircases you willever see. If you do go up to the Bronx ZOO then stop by Arthur avenue for dinner - a real italian neighbor hood Zabars on 80& BWY - the greatest grocery store you will ever walk into Staten Island Ferry at midnight with some one you like or think you might- NYs' version of the love boat

I agree that you must see Central Park and all its special places (Belvedere Castle, the Rambles, the Zoo), but it'd be unique for you to rent a rowboat from the Boathouse and go around the lake where turtles will be sunning on rocks and mallard ducks, swans, Canada goose might be swimming in the lake. (Most people don't associate NYC and nature.) At the Metropolitan Museum of Art (eastside by Central Park on Fifth Avenue and 82nd Street), you will be awed by the Temple of Dendur in the Egyptian wing. So peaceful yet magnificent. Throw a penny or 2 into the reflection pool and make a wish or 2. Another impressive/photographic sight would be to see the many international flags flying in unison under a blue sky, in front of the United Nations (42nd-46th Street on First Avenue).
