Is anyone in People to people ambassador programs?

Experiences with People to People Ambassadors leadership program?

Does anyone have experiences with People to People, specifically the Leadership program (not the international "ambassador" program)? There is no international program group in our area, but we're considering one or two of the 10 day leadership programs on the East Coast for this summer. We have already researched the costs and scheduled activities, but have heard mixed reviews as far as supervision, safety, and overall experience. How was the homework given? How were the venues visited? Was there adequate and friendly supervision? Was safety and health the top priority? We'd appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thanks in advance.
