Are there any neighbourhoods in Brooklyn like the West Village and Greenwich Village?
-
The West Village and Greenwich Village feel the most homely to me out of all the other Manhattan neighbourhoods. (Except FiDi, that feels kinda homely too but rent in FiDi is sky high so I'm staying in the village.) So I want to know, since Brooklyn is more quiet and calm, what neighbourhoods in Brooklyn are like the village? I was looking at Williamsburg and Greenpoint but they both just didnt feel like home to me. I'm looking for neighbourhoods like the village, quiet, friendly, with brownstones beside trees and roads

Answer:
Try Park Slope. It is adjacent to Prospect Park and is known for its many brownstones. People I know who live there love it.
