My friend, on behalf of everyone in New York City, who has to breather those notious fumes from the cars and trucks, please leave your car in New Jersey and take the PATH train in to Manhattan. The links below has the location of parking garages near the PATH Rail station. Park Garages near PATH Train stations Grove Street Station http://maps.google.com/maps?near=Grove+S... Exchange Place Station http://maps.google.com/maps?near=Exchang... Pavonia/Newport Station http://maps.google.com/maps?near=Pavonia... Hoboken Station http://maps.google.com/maps?near=Hoboken... Journal Square http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/pa... Please note, that parking fees varies from garage to garage and fee change without notice. Please call ahead for the latest rates. From any of the parking garages in the Jersey City or Hoboken, you can take the PATH train either 33rd Street or the World Trade Center in Manhattan. Once there you can transfer to the New York City subway to anywhere in the City. The fare on the PATH is $1.75 and on the subway is $2 one way, which adds up to $7.50 round trip per day. Since you're mostly likely be making multiple trips to NYC, my advice is purchase a 10 or 20-trip QuickCard for the PATH and a weekly unlimited ride MetroCard for the subway. I hope this information is very helpful. Good luck Native New Yorker
