    You could take the E train from Roosevelt Ave Jackson Heights subway station and go to Sutphin Blvd & Archer Ave Subway station on the E train line......... Get off there come up the stairs and you will be right by the 1st stop on the Q43 bus line. If you get on here you will have a seat all the way to 220-18 Hillside ave. The Q43 bus stops right in front of the buffet place that you want to go to. This way there is no walking and no way to get lost as the Q43 bus stops right in front of the place which is located on the corner of Hillside ave and Braddock Ave hence the address is 220-18 Hillside ave. This is a nice place as it is an all you can eat buffet. The reason why I say take the Q43 from Archer Ave Sutphin Blvd stop on the E train is that you will have a seat since it is a long bus ride even from 179th street on the Q1 you will not be guaranteed a seat and it is somewhat of a long ride due to traffic and the bus making stops. The Q43 will drop you off right in front of the place that you want to go to. So I wish you good luck at the Harvest Buffet restaurant. The Q43 also stops at 179th street like the Q1 but as I said it is very hard to get a seat on the bus over at 179th street. Also the added benefit of taking the Q43 is that it will leave you off right in front of the restaurant. Additional comment: All bus stops past Hillside ave and Springfield Blvd are serrviced by the Q43 Limited as the PM limited serivice is only from Hillside Ave and 179th street to Hillside Ave and Springfield Blvd all Q43's stop at every bus stop past Hillside Ave and Springfiled Blvd to Hillside Ave & 268th street which is the end of the line so the Q43 will still stop in front of the Restaurant any time day or night 24/7

If you she lives near the #7 train line, she could take the Manhattan-bound #7 train from 82nd Street-Jackson Heights to 74th Street-Broadway At 74th Street-Broadway, transfer downstairs to the "F" train. Take the Jamaica-179th Street-bound (eastbound) "F" train form Roosevelt Avenue to Jamaica-179th Street. At Jamaica-179th Street, exit the subway and transfer to the Q1 bus going eastbound, which will take from the subway station to corner of Hillside Avenue and Springfield Blvd. 220-18 Hillside Ave is a short walk from the bus stop. That address is at Braddock Av. Best way is take Queens-bound (E) to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av. And transfer to Q43 Limited. Q43 Limited begins weekday @ 4:51pm and ends 8:12pm.
