If I get my GED and a degree can I get a good job?

Im 20 years old. How can I get a job in another state and move?

  • I want to move to Louisiana. I'm from New York. I have been interested in getting out for a while. I have a GED (no college degree yet) and I was wondering how is it possible to get a job and be able to move to another state?

  • Answer:

Well first off you have to get a job and save up money. Then you can go to Nola.com and look for jobs in the area and also look for places to live. You have to make sure you are going to be able to have enough finances to live by yourself or else you'll be screwed.

With a GED, you can work at any McDonald's in the whole country! If you want to move you just have to find a job and a place to stay. You just need to take care of somethings before you go like taking care of your current residence and job.

I DONT SPEAK ANGLASH!

How about joining job corp. It is a free program for low income people ages 16-24 to get training to work in a job field. And they provide housing or give you money towards housing. Look into it. http://www.jobcorps.gov/Home.aspx
